Hi Listheads,
Make sure to give your brain a chance to turn off occasionally, otherwise, you might find it's never really on.

Tokaido Implementation Details linkers 20 min
This is a status update about Tokaido (née Rails.app), but it has almost nothing to do with Ruby. Instead it's all about how static and dynamic linking work and what it takes to build a portable binary that can be installed in different locations on multiple machines. Well worth reading.
Have a picnic in Prospect Park. You can horseback ride, visit the zoo, ride paddle-boats, and do tons of other things in the park, but the List recommends taking an afternoon to just lounge with friends or read. Olmsted and Vaux designed this expansive park after they finished Central Park; if you get antsy, wander off and get lost along the paths near Long Meadow.
That's all for this week. Send jokes, tips, and rants to tips@linkedlistnyc.org.
Peace out, cub scouts.
Nick & Dave
P.S. Enjoy the List? Spread the love and share it with a friend.
